Builder limits and trimmed content
Fantasma caps project size so previews, Download ZIP, and Publish stay reliable. Hitting a cap is normal on very large sites — the builder shows a clear error instead of corrupting data.
These limits apply to every plan; Pro does not raise the structural ceilings.
Typical project caps
| Area | Limit |
|---|---|
| Templates (all types) | 48 |
| Layouts | 20 |
| Sections (whole project) | 360 |
| Blocks (whole project) | 900 |
| Repeater rows (project-wide) | 400 |
| Characters in validated text fields (total) | 500,000 |
Some special template types have their own lower counts — the UI stops you when you hit them.
Per template / section
- Sections per template: up to 40
- Sections per layout: up to 20
- Blocks per section (top level): up to 40 (some sections allow fewer)
- Nested blocks: up to 32 per parent, depth 2 max
- Repeater rows: up to 48 per field
Text field caps (examples)

Trim warning
You may see:
Some project content exceeded limits and was trimmed or needs review.
That means overflow was removed on load. Open affected templates and check nothing important is missing.
If a limit blocks your work
The same limits apply while editing, downloading a ZIP, and publishing. Reduce structure or text to fit the tables above, or split work across projects. The on-screen validation message points at the limit.
